After your hike, it's time to relax at Ten Thousand Waves, a Japanese-inspired spa nestled in the mountains. This serene retreat offers private tubs, meditation rooms, and tranquil koi ponds. Be sure to book your session in advance - as reservations are required. The spa sessions usually last 90 minutes, with room for eight of your nearest and dearest. Local tip: Book the Kojiro tub (a crowd favorite.) Here, your group will enjoy a private hot tub experience with your own cold dip and wet/dry saunas, all immersed in zen surroundings. They also offer group discounts when you book for six or more, giving you even more reason to relax!
After your life-changing spa experience, enjoy lunch or a fabulous dinner at Izanami, located within Ten Thousand Waves. The coffee here is just perfect, and on a sunny day, we recommend taking your breakfast along with a picnic blanket to Harvey Cornell Rose Park and enjoying a picnic among the beautifully planted rose bushes!
Next up, head over to El Rancho de las Golondrinas, a historic ranch and living history museum for a full day of wonder. Open from June to October, this 500-acre rural farming spot offers a glimpse into the past with its old-town charm. Wander through the picturesque grounds and learn about the lively history of Santa Fe.
If you’re craving a second spa day (because why wouldn’t you?), we recommend visiting Ojo Santa Fe Spa. While Santa Fe's nightlife may not be as bustling as larger cities, there are still some great spots to dance and enjoy live music on your girl's trip! Check out The Boxcar Bar (ladies' night is on Thursdays!) or Tumble Root Brewery and Distillery's Agua Fria Taproom + Music Venue for live music, generous happy hours Wednesday-Sunday, and an exciting atmosphere.
